Video Editor

Orca BPO is seeking a skilled Video Editor with 3 to 4 years of professional experience to join our creative team. The ideal candidate has a strong command of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, and DaVinci Resolve, and a deep understanding of post-production workflows, audio editing, and visual effects integration. This role involves creating compelling video content tailored for social media platforms and various digital formats while ensuring high-quality output. The candidate must be comfortable working night shifts aligned with US hours and capable of managing multiple projects independently under pressure. As a Video Editor at Orca BPO, you will be responsible for editing raw footage into polished videos that engage and inform our target audience. You will utilize your expertise in motion graphics, sound design, and visual effects to enhance video quality and storytelling. Collaboration with other creative team members and clear communication are essential to meet project deadlines and deliverables. While this role does not involve managing a team, it requires a high degree of self-motivation and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities

Edit and assemble raw video footage into finished products that align with project goals and brand standards.
Apply motion graphics, animation, and visual effects to enhance storytelling and viewer engagement.
Perform audio editing, mixing, and sound design to optimize sound quality and clarity.
Manage post-production workflows efficiently to ensure timely delivery of content.
Format and export video files suitable for various social media platforms and digital channels.
Collaborate with content creators, producers, and other team members to understand project requirements and deliverables.
Maintain and organize digital assets, project files, and archives for easy accessibility and future use.
Stay current with the latest trends in social media content formats and video editing techniques.
Operate video and audio production equipment as needed to support the editing process.
Work independently under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Adapt to night shift work schedule aligned with US time zones to support production timelines.
