Chief Accountant

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Chief Accountant to lead and manage our accounting department. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of professional accounting experience, hold a Chartered Accountant (CA) certification, and possess the expertise to run the accounting department independently. This role requires strong analytical skills, leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of financial processes and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to financial regulations.
Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements, reports, and budgets to senior management.
Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
Manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure optimal financial health.
Coordinate audits, tax filings, and compliance with statutory regulations.
Lead and mentor the accounting team to enhance their skills and productivity.
Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies as required.
Stay updated with industry trends, accounting standards, and legal regulations to ensure best practices.

Qualifications and Requirements:

CA (Chartered Accountant) certification is mandatory.
A minimum of 7-10 years of professional accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software and financial management tools.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong communication and leadership abilities to manage a team effectively.
Ability to work independently and take full ownership of the accounting function.
