We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company's accounts payable processes, ensuring accurate and timely payment of vendor invoices, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process, verify, and reconcile invoices and payments.
- Ensure accurate coding of invoices to the appropriate general ledger accounts.
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up-to-date and within terms.
- Communicate with vendors regarding billing discrepancies and resolve payment issues.
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and check payments.
- Maintain organized records of all financial transactions.
- Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
Qualifications:
- Master degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Oracle).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently under pressure.
