Site Supervisor

Responsibilities

Supervise and manage daily activities at the construction site, ensuring work is completed according to approved plans and specifications.
Lead and coordinate a workforce of 20 persons, including labourers and contractors, to optimize productivity and maintain site discipline.
Inspect and verify all materials delivered to the site for quantity and quality, ensuring compliance with procurement requirements.
Maintain accurate records of materials received, utilized, and remaining to track inventory and control wastage effectively.
Monitor construction progress and quality control by reviewing workmanship and adherence to project milestones.
Interpret and apply construction drawings and basic engineering measurements to guide on-site execution.
Enforce site safety standards and ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) protocols.
Coordinate daily communication between contractors, suppliers, labour teams, and management for smooth site operations.
Prepare and submit detailed daily site reports documenting progress, material consumption, and any site issues.
Manage procurement logistics by working closely with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Resolve on-site construction challenges promptly through effective problem-solving and decision-making techniques.
Monitor labour performance and contractor compliance with contractual and project requirements.
Implement quality assurance practices to validate that construction meets design specifications and industry standards.
Track material consumption patterns, optimize stock levels, and manage inventory to reduce costs and delays.
Provide practical knowledge and oversight in the construction of poultry farms, including shed layouts, ventilation, drainage, and water systems to meet operational needs.
