SQA Expert

OnyxTec is seeking a dedicated Software Quality Assurance (SQA) professional to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of various testing methodologies, including test automation and manual testing, and has a keen eye for detail. This position is crucial for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products before they reach our customers. The SQA will collaborate closely with development teams to identify issues, document defects, and validate fixes. Candidates with experience in payments and subscriptions are preferred, though this is not a strict requirement. With a commitment to quality assurance, you will help us maintain high standards and deliver exceptional software solutions to our clients. As this role does not involve managing a team, the focus will solely be on executing tests and improving the overall quality of our products.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications.
Conduct manual testing and implement test automation practices to ensure software performs as expected.
Perform various types of testing, including regression, load, and API testing, to identify and resolve issues.
Utilize JIRA for defect tracking and managing testing workflows efficiently.
Collaborate with development teams to reproduce defects and provide clear documentation of issues.
Participate in requirements gathering and analysis to understand software functionality and determine testing requirements.
Execute tests and report findings in a timely manner, maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
Analyze results and provide actionable insights to improve software quality and testing processes.
Stay updated on industry best practices and tools related to software testing and quality assurance.
