Online AI/ML Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AI/ML Engineer to join a dynamic US-based team in a full-time remote capacity, working night shifts from Islamabad. The ideal candidate will bring over seven years of hands-on experience in developing and deploying advanced AI and machine learning solutions. This role demands strong proficiency in Python, expertise in large language models (LLMs), generative AI, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and production-level AI systems. The position offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from USD 3,000 to 4,000.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI and machine learning models, focusing on generative AI and LLM applications.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in the US to align AI solutions with business objectives and technical requirements.
- Implement and maintain production AI systems, ensuring robustness, scalability, and efficiency.
- Utilize AI frameworks and cloud infrastructure to optimize model training, deployment, and inference.
- Develop and integrate APIs to facilitate seamless interaction between AI models and other software components.
- Apply MLOps best practices to automate workflows, monitor model performance, and manage version control.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI/ML technologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in AI and machine learning engineering roles.
- Advanced proficiency in Python programming with a strong focus on AI/ML libraries and tools.
- Demonstrated expertise in large language models (LLMs), generative AI techniques, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
- Proven experience in building and maintaining production-level AI systems.
- Strong command of English at C1/C2 level, enabling effective communication with international teams.
- Familiarity with AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for AI model deployment and management.
- Knowledge of API development and integration to support AI services.
- Practical understanding of MLOps principles and tools for continuous integration and delivery of AI models.
