In this role, you will build and consume RESTful APIs, work with relational and NoSQL databases, and help shape system architecture with a focus on scalability, performance, security, and reliability. Your responsibilities also include debugging and resolving software defects, participating in code reviews and pair programming, and contributing to continuous integration and deployment processes. Staying current with emerging technologies and industry best practices is essential to driving innovation and efficiency within the engineering team at OneZero Solutions.
Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications, services, and APIs aligned with user needs and business objectives.
Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and thoroughly tested code using languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, C#, or C++.
Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, system and API design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
Build and integrate RESTful APIs and work with both relational (SQL) and NoSQL databases to support scalable application needs.
Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to convert product requirements into technical specifications and scalable solutions.
Engage actively in code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge-sharing sessions to maintain high engineering standards and promote best practices.
Identify, debug, and resolve software defects and performance issues across development, staging, and production environments ensuring reliable and stable releases.
Contribute to building and managing CI/CD pipelines and support DevOps practices to enable continuous, safe, and frequent software releases.
Help architect system components focusing on scalability, performance, security, observability, and reliability to meet long-term business needs.
Stay updated with emerging software tools, frameworks, and industry best practices, evaluating and adopting new technologies that add value.
Utilize strong problem-solving skills to work independently on ambiguous or complex technical problems efficiently.
Participate in Agile/Scrum workflows, including iterative development, regular feedback, and adapting to changing priorities.
