Roles and Responsibilities:

Lead the development of software architectures focused on security, scalability, and performance, ensuring alignment with best practices in cloud-native and microservices design.
Design and implement secure development processes to protect against common vulnerabilities (e.g., SQL injection, cross-site scripting) and ensure adherence to industry standards.
Oversee the deployment of applications on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), leveraging auto-scaling, load balancing, and other cloud-native features to ensure high availability and elasticity.
Design and implement microservices architectures that are modular, maintainable, and scalable, focusing on API gateway management and service mesh integration.
Implement data protection strategies, including encryption at rest and in transit, ensuring compliance with regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.
Knowledge of DevOps concepts to integrate security into the CI/CD pipeline.
Work with teams to optimize application performance, ensuring low latency, high throughput, and efficient resource usage. Use tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or New Relic to monitor system health.
Implement caching strategies (Future) (e.g., Redis, Memcached) and database optimizations like sharding, replication, and partitioning to improve responsiveness and handle large datasets efficiently.
Design and implement asynchronous processing (Future) systems using message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka) to offload tasks and distribute workloads efficiently.
Guide and mentor development teams on best practices for secure, scalable software design, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Qualifications:

8+ years of experience in software development with at least 3 years in a Software Architect role.
Extensive experience with PHP Laravel and related frameworks.
Proven experience with microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Deep knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, with hands-on experience in scaling and securing cloud applications.
Strong understanding of application security practices (authentication, encryption, secure APIs).
Familiarity with various development architectures, such as MVC, SOA, event-driven architecture, and experience in choosing the best model for specific business needs.
Excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to debug complex issues across distributed systems.
Experience with continuous integration, continuous deployment (CI/CD), and DevOps pipelines.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have:

Experience with additional programming languages like JavaScript (Node.js, React).
Familiarity with agile methodologies and experience in project management or leading cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of API gateway management and service mesh in microservices environments.
