We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Process and post customer payments to ensure accurate and timely recording of transactions.
- Reconcile accounts receivable on a regular basis and resolve any discrepancies.
- Generate and send out invoices to customers in a timely manner.
- Follow up on overdue payments and manage collections efforts.
- Communicate with customers to address inquiries and resolve billing issues.
- Prepare and analyze aging reports to assess the status of accounts.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
Qualifications:
- Minimum B.Com or ACCA with 11 papers cleared.
- Previous experience in accounts receivable or a related field is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant accounting software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
