The candidate will work as the lead on multiple projects from developing design brief for Mechanical Consultant on projects and coordinating to get construction drawing sets to developing design on in-house projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare mechanical design briefs for projects
Prepare mechanical design calculations and drawings
Review contractor shop drawings
Ensure installation follows approved design
Resolve technical issues during construction
Coordinate with consultants and project managers
Work on feasibility projects and provide inputs in infrastructure development projects
Review consultant designs and contractor shop drawings.
Ensure compliance with local authority regulations and international standards.
Work with Cost Engineer to develop rough cost estimates in initial stages of the project.
Coordinate with in-house design team and engineering consultants to ensure timely coordinated construction drawings documents i.e. drawings, BOQ and specifications.
Work with Engineering consultants on systems that help reduce operational costs.
To be able to coordinate and work with authorities and suppliers for timely activations of site during handover stage.
