Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in gathering business and software requirements, planning feature implementation, and preparing projects for user testing within a three-month timeframe. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in successfully delivering similar projects, possess a Prince2 or equivalent certification, and be skilled in user experience and application content. This role is part-time and fully remote, with the main objective of ensuring project readiness for user testing by the end of the contract.

Key Responsibilities

Project Assessment and Planning

Review and assess the current project status, identifying critical areas for development and potential bottlenecks.
Gather and document detailed business and software requirements.
Develop a clear, actionable project plan, including a roadmap that aligns with the goal of user testing readiness within three months.

Sprint and Roadmap Creation

Define and plan weekly sprints to maintain a structured project timeline.
Establish a roadmap that includes key milestones for feature completion, content updates, and testing readiness.
Regularly evaluate sprint progress, adjusting as necessary to meet project goals.

Daily Standup and Weekly Reporting

Conduct daily standup meetings to track team progress, address blockers, and ensure ongoing task alignment.
Provide weekly progress updates, including sprint evaluations, to stakeholders and offer strategic recommendations to expedite project timelines where feasible.

User Experience and Content Support

Collaborate with the team to ensure the application content aligns with project requirements and enhances user experience.
Apply a user-centered approach in finalizing features and content, preparing the project for optimal user feedback during testing.

Requirements

Certification: Prince2 or equivalent certification in project management.
Experience: Proven 5 years experience as a Project Manager in a similar role, preferably with remote and part-time work.
References: Ability to provide references or examples of successfully completed projects.
Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills with a flair for user experience and content alignment.
Technical Proficiency: Ability to use project management tools and conduct virtual meetings effectively.
Duration: This is a 3-month part time contract position with the opportunity to make a significant impact on the project’s success.
