Health Associate / Medical Biller

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Health Associate Medical Biller to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely submission of medical claims to insurance companies, managing patient billing inquiries, and maintaining comprehensive records of billing activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and submit accurate medical claims to insurance companies.
Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility.
Review and correct rejected or denied claims.
Communicate with insurance companies and patients regarding billing issues and claim statuses.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of billing regulations and insurance guidelines.
Perform regular audits of billing records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Handle patient billing inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to ensure seamless billing processes.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in medical billing is a plus.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in medical billing or a related field.
Proficiency in medical billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Strong understanding of medical terminology, coding (ICD-10, CPT), and insurance processes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
