Odoo Functional Consultant

We are looking for an experienced Odoo Functional Consultant to join our team based in Karachi. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to analyze and understand business requirements, configure Odoo modules accordingly, and work closely with technical teams to deliver tailored solutions. This role involves direct interaction with clients to translate their business processes into effective Odoo implementations and provide ongoing support throughout the project lifecycle. The position requires on-site attendance and offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs60,000 to Rs120,000.

Key Responsibilities

- Gather and document clients’ business requirements and current workflows through detailed discussions and requirement-gathering sessions.
- Configure Odoo modules based on approved business needs, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
- Prepare functional specifications and process documentation to support the implementation process.
- Map existing business processes to Odoo functionalities, identifying gaps or areas for improvement.
- Liaise with developers to clearly communicate customization requirements and ensure timely delivery.
- Conduct functional testing of Odoo configurations and custom developments to verify accuracy and performance.
- Plan and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in collaboration with clients to validate solutions before deployment.
- Identify, document, and track issues encountered during implementation, ensuring timely resolution.
- Support clients during critical phases such as data migration, system testing, and Go-Live activities.
- Provide post-Go-Live functional support and troubleshoot any issues that arise to ensure smooth operation.
- Maintain comprehensive implementation documentation and project records for future reference.
- Monitor assigned tasks to ensure all deliverables are completed within agreed timelines.
- Stay updated with the latest Odoo features, versions, and relevant modules to enhance solution delivery.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience as an Odoo Functional Consultant or in a similar role with a strong understanding of business processes.
- Ability to translate business requirements into effective Odoo configurations.
- Experience working closely with technical teams for customizations and testing.
- Strong documentation skills for preparing functional specifications and process flows.
- Familiarity with conducting User Acceptance Testing and managing issue resolution.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- Willingness to work on-site in Karachi.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
