Responsabilities:
A SIP/DevOps/Linux Engineer is responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining Different flavors of Linux operating systems, Implementing CI/CD, and Managing Virtualization Technologies (Proxmox, KVM, ESXi). Candidate can also work with different Linux based Performance Monitoring Tools.
Requirements:
- Must have 2+ years of hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (Proxmox, KVM, etc) to manage virtual machines on Linux hosts in a center environment
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux operating systems, Database Clusters, and VoIP Systems on servers and workstations.
- Implement monitoring solutions to track system performance, resource utilization, and potential issues.
- Conduct performance analysis and optimize system configurations for efficiency.
- Develop and maintain backup strategies for data integrity and availability.
- Implement disaster recovery plans and procedures.
- Configure and manage network interfaces, IP addresses, and routing on Linux systems.
- Troubleshoot network-related issues.
- Write shell scripts (Bash, Python, etc.) for automation of routine tasks and system administration processes.
- Implement automation tools for deployment and configuration management.
- Optimize virtualized environments for performance.
- Stay informed about new Linux releases, updates, and emerging technologies.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
