Finance manager

Nishat Group is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead its finance department and drive financial strategy. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in financial analysis, reporting, and risk management, with significant expertise in financial modeling and ERP software. This role demands a confident leader who can manage a team of 20 finance professionals effectively, ensuring the company's financial operations align with strategic objectives and regulatory standards. The Finance Manager will oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, enforce compliance with IFRS, and implement robust financial control measures. The candidate must demonstrate excellent analytical skills to perform variance and value at risk analyses, facilitating informed decision making and risk mitigation. This position requires at least 10 years of progressive experience in finance roles and the ability to foster a high-performing team environment.
Responsibilities

Lead and manage a finance team of 20 members, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with IFRS.
Conduct detailed variance analysis to identify and explain deviations from budget and forecast.
Implement and oversee risk management strategies, including financial risk modeling and value at risk (VaR) analysis.
Manage the integration and utilization of ERP software to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial processes.
Collaborate closely with senior management to develop financial policies and strategic plans aimed at sustainable growth.
Ensure comprehensive internal controls and adherence to financial regulations and company policies.
Coordinate audit processes and liaise with external auditors to ensure timely and accurate audits.
Monitor cash flow, investment activities, and capital structure to optimize financial performance.
Stay updated on industry trends, financial regulations, and best practices to enhance departmental capabilities.
Drive initiatives to improve financial data quality, reporting consistency, and operational efficiency.
