We are seeking a talented and experienced Non-Fiction Ghostwriter to help bring compelling, well-researched stories and informative content to life. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of writing high-quality non-fiction content across a range of subjects, from business and self-help to history, memoirs, and thought leadership. Working closely with clients, you will be responsible for capturing their voice and vision while maintaining a consistent narrative style that resonates with target audiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their ideas, objectives, and preferred tone for the book or project.
  • Conduct thorough research on the assigned topics, gathering accurate and relevant information to support the narrative.
  • Draft, revise, and edit manuscripts, ensuring clear, compelling storytelling and adherence to project guidelines.
  • Capture the client’s voice, maintaining their perspective and tone while enhancing readability and flow.
  • Develop outlines, chapters, and a clear story structure based on the client’s vision.
  • Adhere to deadlines and meet project milestones as outlined in the contract.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a ghostwriter or author in non-fiction genres, with a portfolio demonstrating your ability to write across different topics.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with an eye for detail and an ability to simplify complex topics.
  • Strong research skills and familiarity with fact-checking methods to ensure content accuracy.
  • Ability to adapt to different writing styles and voices.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with clients.
  • Familiarity with publishing processes, including self-publishing and traditional publishing, is a plus.

Preferred Experience:

  • A background in journalism, research, or content creation for business, self-help, or academic fields.
  • Prior experience working with high-profile clients or on confidential projects.
