Next Graphics is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant with at least 2 years of experience to join our finance team. The ideal candidate is proficient in account reconciliation, tax preparation, general ledger management, payroll processing, and accounting software including QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel. This role requires managing daily bookkeeping activities, preparing financial documents, and ensuring accuracy in all accounting processes. The Accountant works independently to maintain financial records, handle banking transactions, and assist in monthly closings while demonstrating strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
The selected candidate takes responsibility for various accounting operations such as invoice preparation, cash counting, expense filing, and stock management. The role also includes managing import shipment matters, production costing calculations, and payment follow-ups with customers. This position does not involve team management but requires a motivated individual with the willingness to learn, handle multiple tasks, and contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting procedures within Next Graphics.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic accounting tasks including bookkeeping, cash counting, and entry in accounting software.
- Prepare invoices, delivery orders, sales returns, receipts, and related financial documents accurately.
- Manage and reconcile ledgers to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Process payroll functions and maintain records in compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Handle banking transactions and conduct periodic bank visits to manage accounts.
- Maintain filing systems for various accounting documents such as expenses, vouchers, and payment records.
- Follow up on payments and recoveries from customers to maintain healthy cash flow.
- Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly financial closings and reporting.
- Conduct stock takes and assist with import shipment related financial matters.
- Calculate production costs and support related accounting activities.
- Work with sales tax regulations and prepare necessary documentation.
- Demonstrate stress management skills to perform effectively under pressure.
- Continuously learn and take on additional accounting tasks to support the finance team.
- Utilize accounting software and Microsoft Excel proficiently to manage financial data.
- Ensure accuracy, organization, and timeliness in all accounting functions.

• Education: B.com. Fresh candidate or 1-2 Years experience willing to work with us on long term basis. Starting Salary will be around Rs 30,000-35,000/-
