SQA Engineer

Seeking a talented SQA Engineer to join our team and help us maintain the quality of our software applications. In this role, you will be responsible for analysing the functionality of applications to validate their performance. You will also be required to identify bugs, install databases, and collaborate with the software design team.

To ensure success as a SQA Engineer, you should have advanced programming skills, a keen eye for detail, and excellent project management skills. You should also be willing to learn and work collaboratively with the team to achieve our goals

Experience: 2-3 year in QA (Manual and Automation)

Responsibilities

Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product manager) to identify system requirements
Monitor debugging process results
Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions
Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies

Requirements and skills

Able to multitask and pitch in on many areas of development
Working towards or completed Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or any relevant field
Object-oriented applications design and development with C++
Large data processing algorithms, software design patterns, and data structures.
