We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, particularly within the UK market, and will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company.

Key Responsibilities & Skills Required:

Proficiency in Xero accounting software; experience with QuickBooks is preferred
CA Part-Qualified or ACCA Qualified, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
Extensive experience in UK bookkeeping, manual accounting, and maintaining accurate financial records
Expertise in UK VAT calculations, filing procedures, and submitting quarterly VAT returns
Competency in preparing financial accounts, tax returns, and ensuring compliance with UK accounting regulations
Conducting audits of financial information to maintain financial accuracy and compliance
Preparing and presenting financial reports, budgets, business plans, and financial statements to senior management
Financial forecasting and risk analysis, with the ability to create strategic pricing models
Providing tax planning services in line with current UK legislation to optimize financial performance
Preparing monthly and annual financial statements, and management accounts on a regular basis
Conducting bank reconciliations and maintaining fixed asset records for accurate financial tracking
Managing detailed ledgers and overseeing day-to-day financial transactions
Developing and running the company's payroll system, ensuring timely and accurate salary disbursements
Analyzing business performance and offering strategic advice on improving profitability and growth
Preparing financial management reports to support business planning and decision-making processes
Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting
Financial risk management, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies
Cash flow management to ensure efficient use of company resources
Experience in working with external auditors and managing the annual audit process
Ensuring compliance with relevant UK financial laws and tax regulations
Ability to oversee and manage the company’s capital structure and funding strategies
