New Vision Engineering Consultant is seeking a skilled Project Architect with at least five years of professional experience in architectural design and project coordination. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelors Degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering and is registered with the relevant professional body PCATP. This role involves leading a team of three members and requires a strong background in architectural detailing, space planning, and construction documentation. Preference will be given to candidates experienced in educational planning, institutional projects, and interior design.
The Project Architect will oversee all phases of architectural projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and promoting sustainable design principles. The role demands proficient client coordination, site analysis, and cost estimation capabilities while leveraging expertise in Building Information Modeling (BIM) including software such as Revit and ArchiCAD. The candidate is expected to drive design development and maintain quality control throughout the project lifecycle to meet client and organizational standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage an architectural project team of three members to ensure timely delivery and quality of work.
- Coordinate with clients to understand project requirements and ensure their needs are met throughout the design and construction phases.
- Develop detailed architectural designs, space plans, and construction documentation adhering to regulatory and safety standards.
- Utilize Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools such as Revit and ArchiCAD to create and manage project models effectively.
- Prepare and review cost estimations to support budgeting and project feasibility assessments.
- Conduct site analysis and inspections to verify project progress, resolve design issues, and ensure alignment with specifications.
- Ensure compliance with local and national regulatory requirements, including sustainability standards such as LEED certification.
- Collaborate with engineering, construction, and interior design teams to deliver integrated project solutions.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders, facilitating smooth project coordination and timely resolution of challenges.
- Oversee the preparation of detailed construction documents and AutoCAD drawings with accuracy and adherence to company standards.
- Promote sustainable design practices and incorporate environmentally responsible materials and methods into architectural plans.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their professional growth and ensure high project execution standards.
