Accounts Manager

Nayyer Carpet is seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to oversee and manage the companys financial accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of expertise in handling daily cash flow, sales and purchase activities, and office management. A strong command of Oracle accounting software is essential to perform accurate and efficient financial record-keeping and reporting. This role involves ensuring the smooth operation of accounts payable and receivable processes and maintaining financial controls to support the companys profitability and growth. The Accounts Manager will also lead and mentor a small team to optimize accounting functions and workflow. The successful candidate will take ownership of managing the companys daily cash flow, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely processing of financial transactions. The role requires a detail-oriented professional with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills to maintain financial integrity and compliance. Leading a team of one financial professional, the Accounts Manager will foster collaboration and develop effective accounting strategies that align with Nayyer Carpet's business goals and operational needs.
Responsibilities

Manage daily cash flow to ensure accurate tracking and timely processing of transactions.
Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring all financial obligations and incoming payments are processed accurately and promptly.
Utilize Oracle accounting software to maintain financial records, generate reports, and support auditing processes.
Supervise sales and purchase activities to align with organizational financial policies and ensure accurate documentation.
Maintain office management related to accounting operations, including documentation, filing, and workflow optimization.
Lead and mentor a small team to enhance productivity and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company procedures.
Prepare periodic financial reports and summaries for senior management review.
Monitor financial transactions to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Coordinate with other departments to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Ensure compliance with local financial regulations, company policies, and standards.
Develop and implement improved accounting policies and procedures to streamline workflow and increase efficiency.
Assist in audit preparation and respond to auditor inquiries by providing accurate financial data.
Maintain confidentiality and security of all financial information and sensitive data.
Continuously update knowledge of accounting best practices and software advancements relevant to the role.
