National Technologies seeks highly motivated fresh Engineering Graduates in Electrical, Mechanical, or Information Technology disciplines to join the Karachi team as Graduate Trainee Engineers in Broadcast and IT Solutions. This entry-level role focuses on enabling digital transformation for major national broadcasters. Trainees will contribute directly to implementing and supporting advanced broadcast technologies, including deep archive storage systems using Helium and SAS drives, and media management software designed for efficient handling of large volumes of broadcast content.
The ideal candidate brings foundational knowledge in broadcast technology and automation systems, paired with a strong technical aptitude and eagerness to learn on high-profile projects. Throughout the training program, candidates will gain hands-on experience, developing skills in media asset management, storage infrastructure, and software integration critical to the future of national broadcasting. While team leadership is not expected in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively within diverse technical teams and manage project tasks independently.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the deployment and maintenance of digital broadcast systems focused on deep archive storage solutions such as Helium and SAS drive technology.
- Support the implementation and optimization of media management software to streamline asset lifecycle workflows for major broadcasting clients.
- Work closely with senior engineers and project managers to understand system requirements, design specifications, and operational protocols.
- Perform regular system testing, troubleshooting, and documentation to ensure high reliability and performance of broadcast and IT solutions.
- Contribute to digital transformation initiatives by adopting new technologies and methodologies under guidance.
- Participate in training sessions and knowledge-sharing meetings to build expertise in broadcast automation systems and media asset management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate software updates, hardware installations, and integration tasks.
- Maintain adherence to industry standards and company policies ensuring quality and security in all project deliverables.
- Provide technical support to clients during system commissioning and post-deployment phases.
- Continuously update knowledge of evolving broadcast technologies and IT infrastructures relevant to digital media services.
