Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice on water governance issues in the context of climate resilience and disaster management.
  • Advocate for policy reforms to enhance water resource management and climate adaptation at local and national levels.
  • Engage with government institutions, NGOs, and communities to build consensus around sustainable water governance practices.
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform policy recommendations and advocacy strategies.
  • Support capacity-building efforts related to water governance in climate-vulnerable areas.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Water Resource Management, Environmental Policy, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in water governance and policy advocacy, particularly in the context of climate change.
  • Strong understanding of Pakistan’s water management systems and challenges.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Experience working with government institutions and international donors.
