1.     Strategic Leadership and Vision

a)     Provide overall strategic direction and vision for the BRAVE project, ensuring alignment with national priorities, global climate change agendas, and organizational goals.

b)     Lead the development and execution of project strategies related to climate resilience, water governance, CBDRM, and humanitarian response.

2.     Project Management and Oversight

a)     Oversee the planning, implementation, and monitoring of project activities, ensuring timely delivery of outputs and adherence to project timelines and budgets.

b)     Ensure effective coordination and collaboration among project staff, partners, and stakeholders to maximize project impact.

3.     Policy and Advocacy Engagement

a)     Develop and implement strategies for engaging with government, policymakers, and stakeholders to advocate for climate-resilient policies and practices.

b)     Stay informed about national and international climate change policies and frameworks, ensuring that project activities align with these standards and contribute to policy development.

4.     Capacity Building and Team Development

a)     Build the capacity of project staff and partners through training, mentorship, and knowledge sharing to enhance their skills in climate resilience, water governance, and disaster risk management.

b)     Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that encourages innovation and shared learning.

5.     Stakeholder Engagement and Partnership Building

a)     Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, community organizations, and international partners, to facilitate project implementation and ensure sustainability.

b)     Promote multi-stakeholder collaboration and knowledge sharing to enhance community resilience and disaster preparedness.

6.     Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL)

a)     Oversee the development and implementation of a robust MEAL framework to assess project performance, outcomes, and impact.

b)     Ensure that lessons learned and best practices are documented and disseminated to inform future programming and policy advocacy.

7.     Resource Mobilization and Fundraising

a)     Identify and pursue opportunities for additional funding and resource mobilization to enhance project sustainability and expand its reach.

b)     Develop funding proposals and reports for donors, ensuring compliance with donor requirements and effective communication of project achievements.

8.     Risk Management and Compliance

a)     Identify potential risks to project implementation and develop strategies to mitigate these risks while ensuring compliance with organizational and donor policies.

b)     Ensure that all project activities adhere to ethical standards, accountability, and \"do no harm\" principles.

9.     Representation and Communication

a)     Serve as the primary representative of the BRAVE project to external stakeholders, including donors, government officials, and media.

b)     Communicate project successes, challenges, and lessons learned through various platforms to raise awareness of climate resilience and disaster risk management initiatives.
