Key Responsibilities:
- Lead humanitarian response efforts in communities impacted by climate-related emergencies.
- Develop and implement emergency preparedness plans that integrate with local and national systems.
- Coordinate with international and local partners to ensure rapid, efficient, and effective response operations.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of emergency interventions and make adjustments as needed.
- Build the capacity of local organizations and community groups in emergency response and recovery efforts.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Humanitarian Assistance, Disaster Management, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in managing humanitarian response operations, preferably in Pakistan or similar contexts.
- Knowledge of international humanitarian standards and coordination mechanisms.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
- Proven experience in working with local communities and government agencies.

National Rural Support Programme (NRSP)
Established in 1991, NRSP is the largest Rural Support Programme in the country in terms of outreach, staff and development activities. It is a not for profit organization registered under Section 42 of Companies Ordinance 1984. NRSP's mandate is to alleviate poverty by harnessing people's potential and undertake development activities in Pakistan. It has a presence in 46 Districts in all the four Provinces including Azad Jammu and Kashmir through Regional Offices and Field Offices. NRSP is currently working with more than half a million poor households organized into a network of more than 57,179 Community Organizations. With sustained incremental growth, it is emerging as Pakistan's leading engine for poverty reduction and rural development.
