1.      Financial Planning and Budget Management:

  • Lead the development of the project’s financial plans, ensuring alignment with donor requirements and project goals.
  • Monitor budget utilization across project components and prepare variance analyses to guide corrective actions.
  • Ensure proper allocation of funds to project activities, adhering to approved financial frameworks.

2.      Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, donor guidelines, and statutory regulations.
  • Prepare periodic financial reports for the project, including donor-specific templates.
  • Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits, providing required documentation and clarifications.

3.      Capacity Building and Coordination:

  • Train district finance teams on financial policies, reporting formats, and budgeting tools.
  • Liaise with the British Council’s finance team to ensure seamless financial coordination and reporting.

4.      Financial Controls and Risk Management:

  • Implement internal financial controls to safeguard project resources.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential financial risks.

5.      MIS Integration and Data Management:

  • Oversee the integration of financial data into the project’s MIS for real-time monitoring.
  • Develop and manage financial dashboards for effective decision-making.
