We seek a highly skilled and motivated Valuation/Investment Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be crucial in guiding startups through the intricacies of financial feasibility, investment readiness, and valuation processes. As a Valuation/Investment Specialist, you will be responsible for providing strategic insights, conducting workshops, and fostering connections with prospective investors to ensure the success of our incubatees.
- Provide startups with key guidelines and support in preparing their financial feasibility.
- Collaborate with incubatees to assess and enhance their financial models.
- Conduct workshops to educate incubatees on the essentials of investment readiness.
- Equip startups with the necessary knowledge and tools to attract potential investors.
- Ensure valuations are assessed reasonably by prospect investors, mitigating risks and optimizing opportunities.
- Provide expert advice on crafting effective term sheets and shareholding agreements.
- Guide startups in negotiating favorable terms with investors.
- Educate NICF startups on various investment avenues and strategies for developing growth plans that enhance company valuation.
- Cultivate and maintain strong connections with potential investors and venture capitalists.
- Facilitate introductions and networking opportunities for startups to engage with investors.
- Assist startups in developing robust financial models that demonstrate their growth potential.
- Devise strategies to increase the attractiveness of startups to potential investors.
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelors or Higher degree in Economics/Finance/Business or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in venture modeling, Business analysis, project management or a related field
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret and manipulate complex data
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with startups, investors, and other stakeholders
