Job Responsibilities:
- Plan daily routes and assign work to drivers.
- Enter information into our computer system.
- Keep track of time.
- Work with other teams to determine inventory levels, production schedules, and staffing needs.
- Use data to identify areas that need improvement and make changes to plans.
- Communicate with suppliers, vendors, and customers to ensure on-time delivery and resolve issues.
- Organize transportation to ensure efficient delivery of goods and services.
- Find ways to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality.
- Keep accurate records of all planning activities.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- Strong command of spoken English
- Control room/dispatch experience.
- Experience in operations planning and management.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and people skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and dispatch systems.
- Supply chain experience is preferred.
