SCOPE OF SERVICES
The Warehouse Assistant is expected and required to:
- Updating entries in LMIS software on regular basis.
- Recording Waybills on daily basis and taking part in daily dispatching activities.
- Assist in preparing Warehouse documents.
- Ensuring the safety and security of the warehouse as a part of the warehouse team.
- Keep the temperature maintained as per requirement and update the record accordingly.
- Check electric equipment and look after generator maintenance while maintaining logbook.
- Assist in preparing stock reconciliation report.
- Assist in space management of the warehouse.
- Share responsibility for the security of the building and stock.
- Coordination with transporters / logistic representatives.
- Ensuring that all items packed according to the packing standards and handed over to the courier service TCS against TCS Receipt No.
- Prepare the insurance document of consignments.
- Send Monthly Copc LMIS dispatching report to finance department.
- To generate Inventory and Dispatching report from LMISs.
- Fire equipment checking (every 15th day) and ensure it is not expired and up to standard.
- Weekly checking of all the equipments. ( Fans/ AC /Lights/Alarm/Printer/ etc)
- Documentation, record-Keeping and maintaining accurate procurement records. This includes managing supplier documentation, contracts, purchase orders, and invoices in a systematic and organized manner.
- Understanding of pipeline monitoring, shipment receipt, inspection, space management, issuance and advance inventory and distribution management procedures.
- The ability to identify and resolve procurement-related issues. This includes addressing delivery delays, quality concerns, or other unexpected challenges that may arise during the procurement process.
- Basic analytical skills are helpful for reviewing and comparing supplier quotes, conducting basic price analysis, and identifying potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintaining supplier relationships, communicating requirements, obtaining quotes, and managing deliveries. Coordination with vendors on supplies etc.
