A well Known Commercial Importer and Distributor of Personal Care Products is looking for the services of “Accounts and Import Executive”.
The candidate must have the following skill set:
- Teamwork and Direction
- Analytical Thinking
- Accuracy
- Confidentiality
- Administrative Skills
The following are some duties to be performed:
- Preparing statutory accounts
- Ensuring payments, amounts, and records are correct
- Working with spreadsheets, sales and purchase ledgers, and journals
- Recording and filing cash transactions
- Controlling credit and chasing debt
- Invoice processing and filing
- Processing expense requests for the accountant to approve
- Bank reconciliation
- Liaising with third-party providers, clients, and suppliers
- Updating and maintaining procedural documentation
- Negotiating pricing, payment terms, and contracts with suppliers
- Calculating customs duties and taxes for import items
- Managing customs clearance and import documentation
- Coordinating import activities with internal teams
- Evaluating supplier performance and identifying improvements
