Job Summary:

The Data Entry Operator will be responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining various types of data related to legal documents, case files, and member information.

The role requires a high level of attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently within a legal environment. The Data Entry Operator will support the administrative functions of the law association, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Entry: Accurately enter and update data into databases, spreadsheets, and case management systems from various source documents.

Document Management: Organize and maintain physical and digital files of legal documents, correspondence, and other records.

Quality Control: Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities, and verify the accuracy of information before finalizing entries.

Confidentiality: Ensure all data entered and managed is handled in a confidential and secure manner in accordance with legal and organizational policies.

Database Maintenance: Perform regular backups and updates to database systems to ensure data security and integrity.

Reporting: Generate reports and summaries from data as required by legal staff and association management.

Communication: Collaborate with legal staff, members, and other stakeholders to clarify data requirements and resolve discrepancies.

Support: Assist with general administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents as needed.

 Skills:

Technical Skills : Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with database management systems and data entry software.

Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to spot errors and inconsistencies.

Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.

Confidentiality: Understanding of legal confidentiality requirements and ethical standards.

Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Typing Speed: High typing speed with accuracy is essential.
