To support the workload within the finance department, the intern will assist with routine tasks such as Scanning, Filling, data entry and administrative support. The finance intern additionally supports ongoing finance projects, enhances process documentation, and contributes to audit readiness
1. Record invoices, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
2. Organize, scan, and maintain financial records and supporting documents.
3. Verify invoices and ensure supporting documentation is complete.
4. Assist with tax-related documentation and compliance records.
5. Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
6. Coordinate with internal departments regarding financial documentation.
7. Perform data entry with a high level of accuracy.
8. Carry out any other accounting or administrative tasks assigned by the Finance Coordinator.
9. Assist in maintaining daily accounting records and financial transactions.
10. Understanding organizational policies and ensuring compliance to the policies
11. Any other task given by line manager.
Required Qualification & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or an MBA in Finance, M.Com, ACCA, CA (Inter), or part-qualified CMA. Prior internship or volunteer experience with NGOs/INGOs is preferred.
