Muslim Aid Pakistan (MAP) is implementing an integrated Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) project aimed at improving public health and climate resilience through climate-resilient WASH infrastructure, hygiene promotion, and community governance in flood-affected and water-stressed communities of Mirpurkhas (Sindh) and Lower Chitral (KP).
The project will directly benefit 12,108 individuals through improved access to safe drinking water, sanitation, and hygiene services. A robust baseline is essential to establish current WASH conditions, knowledge, attitudes, and practices before project interventions begin.
1. Purpose of the Pre-KAP Survey:
The purpose of the Pre-KAP Survey is to generate reliable baseline data on community-level knowledge, attitudes, and practices related to water, sanitation, and hygiene and to measure safeguarding risks in targeted areas.
2. Objectives of Pre-KAP Survey:
2.1 Overall Objective
To establish baseline benchmarks for WASH-related knowledge, attitudes, and practices and to identify existing safeguarding risks among target populations.

The survey will be conducted in selected target villages, schools, and healthcare facilities in District Mirpurkhas (Sindh) and District Lower Chitral (KP), covering Pre-KAP household survey.
4. Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (Graduation) and experience in conducting surveys (Pre-KAP), data collection on KOBO Tollbox or any other digital applications.
