Mart Supervisor

Mushtarka Petroleum is seeking a Mart Supervisor to oversee daily operations at their retail location. The Mart Supervisor manages a team of five persons, ensuring efficient store management that aligns with company standards. This role demands a hands-on leader who maintains high-quality customer service and optimizes inventory processes while implementing effective loss prevention methods. The position requires at least two years of relevant experience in a supervisory role within merchandise, cash and carry, or a similar retail environment. The supervisor leads by example while handling cash transactions and POS system operations. They coordinate with staff to meet sales targets and streamline store processes. A focus on teamwork and motivation promotes a positive workplace atmosphere, fostering staff growth and customer satisfaction. Success in this role directly contributes to the profitability and smooth running of the mart under the Mushtarka Petroleum brand.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily store operations and ensure compliance with company policies.
Supervise a team of five employees, providing direction, training, and performance feedback.
Manage inventory levels to maintain optimal stock availability and order replenishments as needed.
Implement and monitor loss prevention strategies to reduce theft and inventory shrinkage.
Handle cash management and ensure accuracy in cash handling procedures.
Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently and assist staff with transaction processing.
Lead efforts to maximize sales through effective customer service and merchandising.
Resolve customer issues promptly to maintain satisfaction and loyalty.
Coordinate staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during operating hours.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe store premises.
Monitor sales trends and report performance metrics to management.
Train new hires on policies, procedures, and best practices.
Encourage teamwork and maintain a positive work environment.
Ensure adherence to health and safety standards.
Assist with preparing daily sales reports and cash reconciliation.
