The Senior Accountant at Mujtaba Textiles plays a crucial role in managing and overseeing all financial aspects of the company. Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile all financial transactions to maintain accuracy in the general ledger.
- Prepare comprehensive financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis and provide actionable insights to the management team for strategic planning.
- Maintain strict compliance with relevant financial regulations and ensure adherence to company policies.
- Oversee and complete the month-end and year-end close processes efficiently and accurately.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate successful and timely audits.
- Ensure the accurate preparation and filing of income tax and sales tax returns in compliance with legal requirements.
- Supervise a team of four accounting professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.
- Utilize ERP and accounting software proficiently to process financial data and generate reports.
- Handle and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to accounts reconciliation and financial reporting.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of income tax and sales tax laws and regulations and implement necessary changes.
- Communicate financial information clearly and effectively with various departments and external stakeholders.
- Manage priorities and workflows in a high-pressure environment to meet multiple deadlines.
