Accountant

Mosaic By Qureshi seeks a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to join the finance team. This role does not manage a team but collaborates with other departments to facilitate accurate financial tracking and reporting within the company.

Responsibilities

Prepare and review accurate financial reports and statements in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
Perform account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial transactions.
Manage the general ledger by recording financial transactions and ensuring compliance with accounting principles.
Apply cost accounting techniques to analyze cost control measures and support budgeting processes.
Use Excel VBA programming to automate reconciliation processes, improving efficiency and reducing errors.
Conduct detailed financial data analysis to identify trends, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement.
Maintain organized and complete financial records to support audits and internal reviews.
Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and resolve discrepancies.
Ensure timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closing activities and reporting.
Support the implementation and maintenance of accounting software and tools to enhance financial operations.
