Site Safety Supervisor

The Site Safety Supervisor at Monza plays a crucial role in ensuring a safe and secure working environment at the project site. This role involves continuous monitoring and enforcement of safety regulations and practices to prevent accidents and incidents. The professional in this position strictly adheres to site safety rules, government regulations, and health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements. The supervisor actively conducts safety briefings and toolbox talks each day, fostering a culture of safety awareness among all site personnel. Throughout daily operations, they prepare and manage necessary work permits such as Hot Work, Height Work, and Confined Space, ensuring all tasks comply with established safety standards. The Site Safety Supervisor also maintains detailed safety documentation and performs regular safety inspections, audits, and emergency drills. This individual works closely with the project team to secure required permits and approvals before work commences, promptly identifies and reports hazards or unsafe conditions, and guarantees the appropriate use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) throughout the site. Although this role does not involve managing a team, the Site Safety Supervisor influences and supports all workers in consistently implementing safety measures, thereby contributing significantly to the overall success and safety of the project.
Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with all site safety rules, regulations, and HSE requirements at all times.
Monitor and oversee site activities to promote and enforce safe working practices consistently.
Conduct daily safety briefings and toolbox talks to educate and engage site personnel on safety protocols.
Prepare, issue, and manage work permits including Hot Work, Height Work, and Confined Space permits.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to safety, including checklists, reports, and inspection findings.
Collaborate with the project team to secure all necessary safety permits and approvals prior to starting work.
Identify, report, and promptly respond to potential hazards, unsafe conditions, and incidents on site.
Support and participate in site safety inspections, audits, and emergency response drills to ensure preparedness.
Enforce the correct and consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by all site personnel.
Assist in maintaining a strong safety culture by promoting awareness, compliance, and proactive safety measures among workers.
