What is Manager Accounts & Financial Reporting - MMBL?

- Preparing Financial statements
- Co-ordinating with internal and external auditors
- Analyzing Financial results against forecast and budget, and Preparing an analysis for management review
- Co-ordinating the status of CWIP/FAR items, requisition of data for statutory reporting and any other information that deemed necessary in execution of daily routine tasks
- Providing on-filed support & guidance on IFRS technical issues

What Manager Accounts & Financial Reporting - MMBL does?

- Responsible for the preparation of monthly management and financial reports
- Develop and maintain documentation of Accounting policies and procedures
- Establish and execute controls for compliance to the Group s accounting and financial reporting procedure
- Provides support to other departments on financial reporting related matters
- Provide support technical accounting issues and guidance on the financial implications of entering complex financial transactions
- Act as an educator of the Bank by providing necessary education/ enlightenment on IFRS and implementation of accounting policies
- Perform in-depth financial analysis of the financial reports
- Support and monitor monthly Capital adequacy & Liquidity and other regulatory ratios to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Analyze and import the data from other ally banking solution such as T-24 and Cloud Payment System(CPS)
- Regularly review General Ledgers, and act an analyzer of the information captured in the banking systems. Run through analytics to address any unusual balance movements
- Provide support and guidance to the team member, and maintaining an adhesive and collaborative environment
- Co-ordinate all external audits e.g. statutory audit, regulatory audits as well as internal audits
- Reviewing AP reconciliation and ensure Payable aging are prepared and reviewed each month
- Reviewing Branchless Banking Dashboards and calculations of Super-agent commission/share on/of branchless banking income and related costs.
- Reviewing and ensuring aging analysis and break-up of all asset/liabilities are prepared and up-to-date
- Act as a key player in transformation projects from performing UATs to leading projects
- Reviewing monthly Fixed Asset/CWIP and IFRS-16 lease additions and coordinating with all relevant depts on the status of all outstanding CWIP items/CAPEX done to-date against budget.

What are we looking for and what does it require to be Manager Accounts & Financial Reporting - MMBL?

Minimum 3 years of experience in Mid- Senior level position of a large-scale organization preferably banking/microfinance industry
A Qualified Chartered Account (ACA) or a ACCA/FCCA only
Good analytical skills, adaptive to the work environment, team leader with experience of managing 5-7 people
