• The position is responsible of Leverages data analytics to support strategic decision making, optimize operations & Manage risks. Provide insight, ensure regulatory compliance and lead a team of analytics to drive business growth & efficiency.
    • Collaboration & Coordination:
    • Create good working relations with all domains within the business, IT and other stakeholders to get data insights, support and info.
    • Translate business needs to technical specifications and deliverables.
    • Data Engineering:
    • Design, build and deploy BI solutions and Analytics along with data warehousing.
    • Conducting preliminary testing of the warehousing environment before data is extracted.
    • Create tools to store data (e.g. OLAP cubes)
    • Extracting company data and transferring it into the new warehousing environment.
    • Design, develop and test ETL task utilizing dynamic mapping and task flows in SSIS.
    • Performance tuning of end-to-end ETL integration processes.
    • Determine optimal approach for obtaining data from multiple source systems.
    • Data purging and data cleaning.
    • Work on projects focused on continuous improvement of the applications support models and associated processes using appropriate
    • technologies.
    • New ETL pipelines deployments
    • Reports/Dashboards development & presentations:
    • Responsible for new report/dashboard development, report maintenance and troubleshooting.
    • Maintain and support data analytics platforms (e.g. MicroStrategy, Power BI, Temenos Analytics Application)
    • Evaluate and improve existing BI systems and existing reports.
    • Develop, execute and optimize database queries and conduct analyses.
    • Create visualizations, GI, dash boards and reports with optimized views.
    • Reports & Dashboards modification as per requirements
    • Compliance & Data Security:
    • Devolving rules as per assigned roles/function; approved from relevant authorities
    • Ensure compliance as per bank policies and regulatory guidelines in data management and migration
    • Ensure data and info security; close working relations with IT security team
    • Business support & projects:
    • Ensure provision of information & technical support to the business teams & other stakeholders
    • Develop strong collaboration within units (BI & Data Science) to make sure completion of all the projects within the defined timelines
    • Supervise all the running and pipelined projects and POC in the projects for all the stakeholders
    • Governance & Administration:
    • Assist CBO in all policy & board level tasks
    • Ensure accurate reporting as and when required/ as per defined frequencies
    • Ensure proper decorum within the team
    • Any other task:
    • Bank may assign any other related task from time to time
    • Hold Master/Bachlor Degree from a reputable Institution in IT, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related subject.
    • Having experience of more than 5 years in the same capacity
    • Knowledge of microfinance operations, credit process and risk management is highly desirable
