• An executive audit SBP desk is responsible for performing audit risk-based audit engagements as per international audit standards and approved audit methodologies, prepare reports and recommend action plans for improvement. All audit evidences and working papers should be properly maintained. Continuously strives to achieve relevant skill set to excel and stay updated with professional pronouncements.
    • Assist Manager in identification and evaluation of audit risk areas and preparation of risk-based internal audit plan.
    • Assist Manager in execution of approved internal audit plan and complete all audit engagements assigned by the manager within the approved turnaround time.
    • Assist Manager in execution of audit engagement including review of documented supervision of the identification and definition of issues, development of criteria, review and analysis of evidence, and documentation of client processes and procedures.
    • Assist manager in reviewing documents, developing and administering surveys, composing summary memos and preparing working papers.
    • Assist manager in identification, development and documentation of audit issues, recommendations for improvement and design and approval of action plans.
    • Robust follow-up mechanism in accordance with SBP guidelines and audit policy. closure of maximum audit issues through on spot or before closure of audit rectification and keeping long-term audit issues to minimum.
    • Assist manager in manage/complete some internal audit engagement of advisory projects.
    • Ensure that the result of internal audit, advisory & fraud examination engagements are adequately discussed with management at the required level and properly communicated via written reports and oral presentations on a timely basis. Implement the revised report structure and the rating criteria.
    • Resolve disagreements on the audit findings to the extent possible. Escalate where disagreements are not resolved to Manager.
    • Perform audit engagements in accordance with international standards and approved audit methodology. Implement the process audit methodology (where applicable) and follow the three-tier audit process. Demonstrate how the audit engagements adds value by contributing to business objectives.
    • Assist manager in implementation of Audit Management System (AMS) as per defined guidelines and perform all audits in QMS.
    • Complete the tasks assigned by the manager on various audit enhancement projects in a timely basis as communicated from time to time.
    • Assist manager in logistics and other tasks related to audit engagements. Ensure that related policies are complied with.
    • Participate in various capacity building activities.
    • Pursues professional development opportunities, including external and internal trainings and professional association memberships, and shares information gained with co-workers.
    • Stay updated with the latest professional pronouncements.
    • Perform related work as assigned by the Line manager.
    • Hold a bachelor's degree from a reputable institution, however MBA will be preferable.
    • Have a minimum of 03 years' experience of working in microfinance/banking industry
