- Job Title: Assistant Manager Verification
- Department Credit Verification Unit

- Reports To: Executive Manager Credit Verification
- Gold Reassessment Credit Monitoring
- a) Arrange and coordinate for re-evaluation of the gold collateral at the authorized branches through an independent goldsmith/Shroff as per Bank policy. Preparation of risk profiling reports of re-assessed gold loans for sharing to concern branches along with findings and recommendations. Maintenance of MIS and record keeping of all documents related to gold re-assessment at Head office level.
- Agent/Vendor Onboarding
- b) Process induction/onboarding of new goldsmiths/Shroff for evaluation of gold collateralized loans at authorized branches. Maintaining MIS and updating record of the approved goldsmiths in the system. Record keeping of gold evaluation service agreements of goldsmith at head office level. Maintenance of branch wise record of approved goldsmiths and ensure that an authorized branch must have at least three approved goldsmiths on its panel as per requirement of state bank of Pakistan.
- Credit Culture & Compliance of Prudential Regulations/Credit Policy/Procedures
- c) Process improvement and quality reviews to simplify and improve loan portfolio productivity. Identifications of Discrepancies & Communication with the verification officers for smooth approval of Credit Files. Coordination with the team of Verification Officers and ensure their independence at branches.
- Reporting/Maintenance of MIS
- d) Monthly analysis/maintain of rejection rate/discrepancy rate and record of Verification Officers.
- e) Submission of all verification MIS/Reports as per prescribed format to Manager Credit Verification on monthly basis latest by 5th of the following month.
- f) Record Keeping of all VO s up to date
- Multi-Tasking
- Assist in Verification Officer Team function and to ensure that all relevant data in soft as well in hard is availableupdated and can be provided to Manager Credit Verification as and when required basis.
- Credit Policy & Compliance
- Providing guidance to field staff (VO) as and when required regarding Goldsmith/credit policy (MMBL Products) of the Bank and regulator.
- Audit Review & Observations
- Ensured that no serious audit objection is raised regarding VOs, audit category is satisfactory and audit compliance is made well within stipulated time.
- Hold a Bachelor s degree from a reputable Institution in the fields of Business Administration/Banking & Finance/ Agriculture/Economics/Accounts.
- Have 3-5 years of credit and related experience.
