• An Area Manager in Liability Sales is responsible for conducting market analysis, identifying business opportunities, and achieving deposit product targets. They lead a team to maximize revenue generation, ensure regulatory compliance, and seek strategic partnerships for deposit mobilization. Additionally, they oversee training sessions, customer engagement activities, and other responsibilities to enhance business growth and uphold the bank's reputation.
    • Conduct market analysis for business growth in respective area under control.
    • Identify business opportunities in area and facilitate Regional Managers for preparing business strategy to capture market.
    • Achieve business targets of Deposit products preferably CALSA / rack rates individually and as a Team Leader within assigned time frame.
    • Achieve Corporate deposit targets on advice of management individually and as a team leader.
    • Guide Area, Branch and Relationship Managers in terms of customers, deposit mobilization, selling right products for business growth.
    • Develop a team of minimum five free lancers / brand ambassadors to market the corporate / retail portfolio as per targets assigned to Area Manager.
    • Ensure effective sales management by strong monitoring, cross verification and feedback of Free Lancers or any other deposit mobilization staff assigned under control.
    • Ensure that NTB customers are accepted into depository relationship with due diligence / AML/ CFT and other regulatory parameters.
    • Maximize revenue generation, contain service delivery cost and ensure team s profitability through sustainable business growth, controlled expense management against allocated budgets and high quality of portfolio management.
    • Seek strategic partnerships for Payment/Collection arrangements with corporate sector with ultimate goal of deposit mobilization at affordable costs.
    • Will actively seek Liability Sales relationships of high net worth individuals, large / mid- size corporate clients in public and private sectors, asset management companies, mutual funds, insurance companies and others.
    • Ensure enforcement of internal control, and reporting as per MMBL s policies and State Bank of Pakistan s regulations.
    • Conduct regular training sessions for Area, Deposit mobilization staff and Free Lancers / Brand Ambassadors.
    • Ensure all financial/non-financial objectives set for the year are closely monitored and reported as per schedule.
    • Ensure customer engagement activities / road shows / market storming in the area on regular intervals.
    • Look for alliances and partnerships for distribution of MSME and micro finance products to maximize outreach for reaching ultimate goal of Deposit Mobilization.
    • Take full responsibility of bank s reputation in all functional areas, particularly the integrity of the human resource, information security, and financial transparency.
    • Any other task / responsibility assigned by the CEO / CBBO / CH / RM
    • Hold a Master s degree from a reputable Institution in business administration, commerce, accounting, marketing, economics, finance or any similar discipline.
    • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience preferably as a Corporate or Retail Branch Manager having expertise in sales planning, management, and monitoring with any reputable Commercial /Microfinance Banks.
