The e-commerce specialist will play a key role in managing and optimizing our e-commerce business, focusing specifically on the Australian market. This role requires expertise in every step of e-commerce management, from product research and sourcing to website design and digital marketing. The ideal candidate should have a hands-on approach to all e-commerce functions, strong organizational skills, and a deep understanding of Australian consumer behavior.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Hunting: Identify profitable product opportunities that align with our brand and customer preferences.
  • Product Sourcing: Build partnerships with reliable suppliers, ensuring high-quality products and competitive pricing.
  • Website Designing: Design and maintain an attractive, user-friendly website (preferably on Shopify) that maximizes conversion rates.
  • Social Media Presence: Create, launch, and manage social media accounts to build brand presence and engage with potential customers.
  • Digital Marketing: Develop and execute targeted social media marketing strategies to increase reach and engagement.
  • Paid Advertising: Set up, manage, and optimize ad campaigns tailored to reach our ideal Australian customer demographic.
  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO): Optimize website and product pages for SEO to increase organic traffic.
  • Shopify Management: Leverage Shopify expertise to manage and troubleshoot the website, handle plugins, and ensure a seamless shopping experience.
  • Email Marketing: Create and manage email marketing campaigns to nurture leads, engage customers, and increase sales.
  • Customer Engagement: Foster customer relationships, ensuring timely and effective responses to inquiries and feedback.

Skills Required:

  • Proven experience in product research and sourcing for e-commerce, preferably in the Australian market
  • Expertise in website design with a focus on UX/UI principles, conversion rate optimization, and mobile responsiveness
  • Strong understanding of the Shopify platform, including plugins, customizations, and troubleshooting
  • SEO skills to increase organic search traffic and improve online visibility
  • Experience in social media marketing and ad targeting to reach specific demographics
  • Proficiency in email marketing platforms (e.g., MailChimp, Klaviyo) to manage customer communication
  • Ability to identify and connect with reliable suppliers for product sourcing
  • Excellent communication skills for customer engagement and team collaboration
  • Understanding of Australian eCommerce market trends and consumer behavior

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in ecommerce, specifically targeting the Australian market
  • Proven experience with Shopify, social media marketing, and SEO
