Midcreatives is seeking a skilled Video Editor who is passionate about storytelling through visual content. In this role, you will utilize your expertise in video editing software to create high-quality video projects that engage and captivate audiences. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with a talented creative team to realize compelling narratives while ensuring that all projects are completed on time and meet the company's standards for excellence. Your proficiency in tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro will be critical as you bring creativity and technical skills together to produce visually stunning and cohesive videos. Although this position does not involve managing a team, you will play a pivotal role in the creative process, contributing innovative ideas and feedback during the production phases.
Responsibilities

Edit raw video footage to create engaging and coherent storylines that align with the project objectives.
Utilize video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro to produce polished final products.
Implement color grading techniques to enhance the visual appeal and ensure consistency across all video projects.
Integrate motion graphics and special effects to elevate the storytelling and maintain viewer interest.
Collaborate closely with directors, producers, and other team members to understand project requirements and vision.
Review and select video footage that complements the narrative and contributes to the overall aesthetic.
Ensure that all edited videos are delivered on schedule and meet quality standards set by the company.
Maintain consistent communication with the creative team throughout the editing process to refine and develop ideas.
Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new editing styles and techniques to continuously improve video quality.
Organize and archive video files and assets methodically to facilitate easy access and retrieval.
