We are looking for a Mid-Level WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the creation, customization, and maintenance of modern, secure, and scalable WordPress websites. This role involves close collaboration with designers, project managers, and fellow developers to deliver high-quality web solutions that align with client expectations and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in theme and plugin development, a strong understanding of front-end and back-end technologies, and a passion for continuous learning and improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes and plugins to ensure optimal functionality and user experience. Convert design files from Figma, Adobe XD, or PSD into fully responsive WordPress websites. Customize existing themes using PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery to meet specific project needs. Optimize website performance by enhancing speed and implementing security measures. Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility for a seamless user experience. Integrate APIs and third-party services to extend website capabilities. Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, plugin conflicts, and issues related to WordPress core updates. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on schedule and according to specifications. Maintain version control using Git to track changes and support team collaboration. Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends, tools, and best practices to enhance development processes.
Required Qualifications
2 to 4 years of professional experience in WordPress development. Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery. Proven expertise in custom theme and plugin development. Practical experience with popular page builders such as Elementor and WPBakery. Familiarity with WooCommerce, including customization, hooks, and template modifications. Working knowledge of REST API and third-party service integration. Understanding of SEO best practices tailored for WordPress websites. Skills in website performance optimization techniques, including caching, CDN usage, and code minimization. Proficiency in version control systems like Git or Bitbucket, including deployment workflows. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Job Type and Work Location
This is a full-time, on-site position offering a salary range of Rs100,000 to Rs150,000 per month.
