We are seeking a talented Microsoft Fabric Developer to join our team on a full-time basis. This role centers on designing, building, and managing data pipelines and analytics infrastructure that support enterprise-level reporting. Unlike traditional Power BI report development, this position requires strong data engineering skills and experience working with Microsoft Fabric technologies. Candidates who can join immediately or on short notice will be given priority.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain data pipelines using Data Factory and Dataflows Gen2 to efficiently ingest data from multiple sources. Architect and manage Lakehouse and Data Warehouse solutions, leveraging OneLake storage for scalable data management. Create and optimize notebooks using PySpark, Python, or SQL to perform complex data transformation tasks. Design semantic models tailored for Direct Lake mode to improve data accessibility and reporting performance. Implement and enforce data governance policies, security protocols, and control access within workspaces to ensure data integrity and compliance. Monitor pipeline performance and optimize Fabric capacity usage to maintain smooth operations. Integrate Microsoft Fabric components with Azure data services such as Data Lake, Synapse, and Azure SQL to build cohesive data ecosystems. Collaborate closely with BI developers and business stakeholders to align data architecture strategies with organizational goals. Maintain detailed technical documentation to support ongoing development, troubleshooting, and knowledge sharing.
Required Qualifications
Candidates should have 2 to 4 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer or Microsoft Fabric Developer. Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Fabric components including Lakehouse, Data Factory, Dataflows Gen2, Notebooks, OneLake, and Direct Lake is essential. Strong proficiency in SQL is required, along with working knowledge of PySpark or Python programming languages. A solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT processes, and data modeling techniques such as star schema is necessary. Experience with Azure data services and cloud-based data solutions is expected. Familiarity with data governance frameworks and security best practices to ensure compliance and data protection is important. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is required.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Possession of the DP-600 certification (Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer) is highly desirable. Familiarity with Power BI and DAX will be considered an advantage. Experience working in enterprise or multinational data environments is preferred. The position offers a competitive monthly salary starting from Rs180,000. This is an in-person role requiring attendance at the designated work location. Immediate or short-notice availability is strongly preferred to meet urgent hiring needs.
