JOB PURPOSE
The purpose of the position of Driver is to provide facility of swift movement to the team in ensuring their in-time access to cover the cases of child protection other routine tasks. The driver will also keep the vehicle clean and functional. Driver will also help in the maintenance of record of all official movements made through vehicle by entering each trip into logbook. The logbook will also have entries of POL and repair & maintenance which will help in keeping transparent record of the expenses.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Safely navigate and manage the vehicle, adhering strictly to traffic laws.
- Verify the vehicle's optimal condition prior to each journey.
- Perform routine vehicle checks, promptly reporting any concerns.
- Adhere to scheduled maintenance routines and protocols.
- Maintain precise and current records, encompassing logbooks, trip details, and receipts.
- Comply rigorously with traffic regulations.
- Uphold meticulous records for driving documentation, logbooks, and equipment maintenance.
- Fulfil additional assignments delegated by superiors.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- At least 3 years’ experience of working in government department or INGO as driver.
- Having a valid LTV Driving License.
REQUIRED EDUCATION
- Preferably literate/ experienced
