The Data and Reporting Analyst is a key role responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and high-quality analysis of program data and reports to support organizational objectives. This position plays a pivotal role in managing data within ICIMS and other databases, analyzing both qualitative and quantitative information to identify trends, gaps, and actionable insights.
The Analyst works closely with key stakeholders to ensure effective communication and that all reports and documentation meet organizational and partner standards. The role supports national and provincial program reporting by clearly communicating program progress and achievements. Through comprehensive data analysis, reporting, and stakeholder engagement, the Analyst contributes to evidence-based decision-making and continuous program improvement.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Data Management and Validation
- Extract, clean, and prepare data from ICIMS and other relevant databases.
- Verify accuracy, ensure compliance, and maintain well-documented datasets for seamless analysis.
- Validate data received from Data Coordinators to ensure alignment with program requirements.
- Data Analysis and Insights
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative data analysis to identify trends, gaps, and inconsistencies.
- Ensure analyzed data is aligned with program goals and objectives.
- Provide actionable insights to support evidence-based decision-making.
- Reporting and Documentation
- Generate comprehensive reports highlighting key findings, trends, and recommendations.
- Prepare concise and visually engaging briefing materials and presentations for stakeholders.
- Strategic Support and Program Improvement
- Contribute to program reviews, evaluations, and progress assessments.
- Document lessons learned and best practices.
- Provide input to strengthen program outcomes through data-driven insights.
