Handle Imports from Suppliers, Customs, Sales Tax /Excise Department,
Shipping Companies, Including Tariffs, Landed Cost etc.
- Dealing with Day to Day Customs issues via advising through clearing agent.
- Follow up with supplier/forwarders/custom broker/shipping line.
- Strong International Supplier correspondence.
- Strong Forwarder correspondence.
- Tracking of incoming shipments.
- Verification of custom duties.
- Follow up with clearing agent for shipment release.
- Responsibility and accountability for all import related matters.
- Able to perform any other assign duties.
- Providing all relevant documents to Finance for remittance purpose & helping finance in relevance of any issue faced by Bank.
- Handling direct shipment D/P, D/A & Afghan Transit.
- Coordinating with accounts Dept. For Issuance of Pay Orders
- Inform all warehouses about expected upcoming import shipment.
- Manage LC/FATR maturity plan date/wise bank wise to pay of the matured documents.
