Mevcon is seeking an experienced Civil Site Supervisor specializing in residential house construction to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of five years of hands-on experience in managing all phases of multi-unit residential construction projects, particularly those involving premium quality standards. This role requires expertise in site layout, grey structure development, finishing works, quality control, labor supervision, material management, and effective daily site coordination. The supervisor is expected to ensure that every detail aligns with the highest standards for residential construction, from initial surveying and total station operation to meticulous finishing such as plastering, tiling, painting, woodwork, ceilings, and elevation details. The role demands strong attention to detail and comprehensive knowledge of inspection techniques to maintain superior quality throughout the construction process.
This position does not involve team management responsibilities; however, the supervisor will coordinate closely with subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders to ensure seamless workflow and project progress. Preference is given to candidates who have successfully executed house projects of 1 kanal or larger, as this experience reflects a practical understanding of premium residential construction requirements. The Civil Site Supervisor will play a crucial role in delivering quality housing projects that meet client expectations and regulatory standards, ensuring final handovers are completed efficiently and to the highest quality benchmarks.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage on-site construction activities for residential housing projects, ensuring compliance with project plans and specifications.
- Perform site layout and surveying tasks utilizing equipment such as total stations to set accurate references for construction works.
- Supervise the construction of grey structures, including foundations, walls, slabs, and roofing to ensure structural integrity and adherence to design.
- Implement and enforce stringent quality control and assurance procedures throughout all construction phases to maintain high standards.
- Manage labor deployment and productivity on site to optimize workflow and meet project deadlines without compromising quality.
- Coordinate the procurement and proper storage of construction materials to prevent shortages or damage on site.
- Inspect finishing works including plastering, tiling, painting, woodwork, ceilings, elevation details, plumbing installations, and electrical coordination to guarantee premium results.
- Conduct site inspections and apply inspection techniques to identify defects or deviations early and implement corrective measures promptly.
- Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project engineers to facilitate smooth communication and resolve on-site issues effectively.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations to maintain a safe work environment for all personnel.
- Prepare daily site reports documenting progress, challenges, and resource utilization for review by project management.
- Assist in the final quality checks and coordinate handover processes to ensure all project components meet client expectations and contractual obligations.
- Maintain organized records of site activities, material usage, and inspections for audit and project tracking purposes.
